The Conference "Northern Sea Route - a path to development of business and an international consensus" was held in Moscow on October 31, 2019 (venue - Sovcomflot's headquarters). The event was participated by representatives of the Russian Arctic regions and foreign countries.
A. Chilingarov, Special Representative of the President for International Cooperation in the Arctic and Antarctic, V. Kharlov, Vice-President of the Russian Polar Explorers Association, A. Krutikov, Deputy Minister for Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic, N. Korchunov, Ambassador-at-Large for International Cooperation in the Arctic, MFA of Russia, representatives of the Chukotka Autonomous Region, Republic of Sakha (Yajutia), Arkhangelsk Region and representatives of USA, France, Norway, Canada, Finland, Japan and China participated in the Conference.
The Conference generated great interest: over seventy Russian and foreign experts, representatives of relevant ministries and government bodies, public organizations and mass media attended the Conference.
