It is always interesting to meet students who have decided to devote themselves to the study of international relations. Being  invited  by  the head of international ties faculty  , candidate of political sciences Vasily Zorin, on February 16, a lecture was held in  one of the leading South Ural

Alma mater.

NSRA  presented  its  domestic and international program  in the Arctic.

What succeeds and what does not always work out well in the development of international relations in the Arctic during the Russian chairmanship of the Arctic Council.

It was decided to hold the meeting in English and Russian, and this is not  surprising. The language of the Arctic Council is English.,The language of international negotiations is also English and it  is  indispensable thing .

Why has the Arctic become so important? What role does the Northern Sea Route play in the development of international cooperation? Will Russia and Big  Arctic  8 countries be able to solve the issues of introducing a "green" economy?

These and many other questions were discussed at the lecture.

Video of the rescue operation of NSRA partners  Sovcomflot and Naryan-Mar united squadron companies  on the NSR made a great impression on ChelGY students.

As well as spot news  video report from Ottawa, the capital of Canada, about today's “Freedom Convoy” arranged  by Canadian "truckers" against forced vaccination and freedom of the meetings.

At the end of the lecture, according to tradition, a photo for memory was done. And a joint decision to provide support from NSRA  for writing dissertations by South Ural students who decided to devote their work to the study of Arctic area world-wide.

NSRA  and  ChelGY  International Relations faculty management  agreed to participate at online conferences to be arranged by both parties. It is great idea that  students and teachers of ChelGY would participate our updated Arctic conference in March ,17,2022 . Hopefully  the report on the role of the South Urals area  in ensuring the development of aviation  and metallurgy of the Russian Arctic would be represented.
